New Stores

I'm BACK! Yes, after a long absence I am back to designing. My stores are currently in the process of being set up, but I will still be at 3Scrapateers, ScrapWow, and I've added a sister store at My Memories. You can check out My Memories using the referral link I've set up on the right sidebar.

I have several kits in process and hope to finish a new one soon. I will also be adding some of my old kits in my stores, but not everything will come back. So keep watching, and I'll post an update soon!

I know it has been a really long time since I've posted anything. Things have been really busy. In August, I started back to school. So it's why I haven't updated in a while... it seems that I'm almost always doing homework or cooking, cleaning, being mom. I have good news though. I hope to have at least 1 or 2 new kits to share during the month of June. I have tons of stuff that is started, but until classes end next week, its still on the to-do list. My stores are still open, and sometime in June I will be having a kit sale. So keep watching!

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone... I'm going to make a totally random post, but I'm just so excited about the beautiful gift my husband got for me. This is a totally handcrafted, custom made pen. My husband's co-worker, Scot Snyder, did a beautiful job creating my pen. Since I love turtles, my pen was crafted in the colors of a turtle shell. You can see the beautiful work Scot does at http://www.etsy.com/shop/pensiveshop. The pen uses standard Parker brand refills which you can get anywhere. So hop by his shop... I can tell you, the quality is FABULOUS, and you won't be disappointed!

August has been an awesome month... thanks to everyone who played along and bought the first part of my Somethin' Fishy kit. The layouts were awesome, and I truly hope you enjoyed the rest of the kit... if you didn't pick it up as the SAD for August, you can still enjoy the kit at the amazing price of just $3.25... its still on sale in my 3Scrapateers store.

Now for the really big news... I was so very excited and honored to be invited to join the designers at ScrapWow... I'm currently getting product in the store, and it's really taking a while, but hope to have most of it there by the beginning of September...

In other news, I will also be joining Digital Scrap Mall - yay! I'm still tweaking the design of my store there, and will let you all know when I'm ready because I'll be having a Grand Opening Sale once I'm happy with the design. I'm just busy busy and with going back to work full time, the number of hours in my day to do design/store stuff is more limited... so... this is what's happening in my neck of the woods! I'll update more when there's something to tell you! :)

While many may not be happy with the Bush administration, please don't let that be your deciding factor when voting. Keep in mind that whether Democrat or Republican the elected official is still NOT going to do everything they promise - that's just politics! I believe that everyone should vote how they want, but I also believe people should be well-informed. I'm a little late posting all of this information, but now there are 2 new places you can find me. I am now designing for Scrappy Thoughts and Scraphead! I have added new product at both stores, but its going to be slow going as I have to re-package all my kits... but everything at both Scrappy Thoughts and Scraphead will be on sale until all my products are added.

Also 3Scrapateers is having a Customer Appreciation Sale and my products there are on sale as well. You will also find that my products at Pretty Scrappy are on sale. Products at Etsy will not be included in this sale as they are not a regular scrapping site.

This week has just flown by. This past weekend, my DH and I went out for Valentine's Day since it was during the week. My mom and sister picked up the kids and we picked them back up on Sunday. I'm REALLY late posting this today. My daughter, Piper, turned 4 on Wednesday... we went to Build-a-Bear and are now the proud owners of Gabby (the pink poodle) and her mini me, Abby - LOL. Anyway, her party is tomorrow, and I spent most of today baking and decorating a princess castle cake... its all done now and safely ensconced in the refrigerator, but it seriously delayed the freebie.

First of all I would like to apologize for missing your freebie last week. Some of you may know that my dad was in the hospital twice last week the first time from Monday thru Wednesday, then he was re-admitted on Thursday and stayed 'til Sunday. Help Vanderbilt Children's Hospital

As you all have seen once before, I am a huge Rascal Flatts fan... the fan club, of which I am a part, has a handmade quilt and pillow on eBay. The quilt is signed by all members of the band, and this is the last auction from the fan club. You can bid on the quilt here.
All proceeds from the sale of the quilt minus shipping go to help support Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville, TN. This photo is taken from the eBay listing, but there are lots of other photos of the quilt for you to view. Money donated to the hospital makes a child's stay at the hospital more bearable by providing games, a kid-friendly menu, and special equipment. (Photo courtesy of Velvet.)
